It seems this ring fell in popularity a lot after its nerf but I still think it's VERY good, not totally OP but such a delight to use. I'm pretty comfortable with that downside, considering all the upsides, though. 344-120 224 mana regen/ additional leech vs single target needed. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Entranced (talk contribs) Thanks for the report. So you would spend 344 mana per second and thiefs torment would give you 15 per enemy, thats 120 mana in second when you are hitting something. Only real downside is the lack of life, and you do lose some flat life that you could get from 2 rare rings, as Thief's Torment occupies both slots. Running a search on Ambush League, Thiefs Torment can have 10-16 IIQ since 1.1.0. And there you have it, so as you can see there are nine levels, including the tutorial and a total of 21 Torments to play through as you are slaying demons to the beat. Having at least a little bit of MF while playing and running maps makes a big difference, even if the rest of the gear isn't focused on MF. Thief’s Torment is a unique Prismatic Ring. Death’s Edge III (Torment) Ultimate Mastery III (Torment) Slaughter Mastery III (Torment) Sheol. That's a total of 66% resistances! While good rare rings can have more, this one doesn't lag behind in this aspect either. 22% to all resistances with a perfect roll. A thief is a criminal found in various places around RuneScape, and can be a challenge for new or low level players. I am unsure of if you can equip 2x Thief's torment as you cannot use other rings, or if that means one thief's torment takes up both ring slots. I've done Vulnerability, Enfeeble and even Temporal Chains with the ring equipped and found those maps were easily doable. The unique ring, Thief's torment has the line 'Can't use other rings' and after searching around for a while I've found out it's quite controversial to what this line actually means. As soon as equipped your second ring slot is completely blocked for any ring. It does not allow you to use two Thief's Torment's at the same time. 50% reduced effect of curses on you means you can run any map with any curse. The paraphrase 'Can't use other rings' leads to only being able to use one single ring. 30 Life gained on hit is VERY big, considering you get it for "free", applied globally, and don't have to use a LGoH support gem. Also, some maps can roll with "cannot leech life and mana", but that doesn't apply to Mana and Life gain on hit! Most attacks are supported by either Multistrike or multiple projectiles, meaning each time you spend mana for the attack, you get multiple hits, and so all the mana used back and more. 15 Mana gained on hit means you never have to worry about mana again. It's an item that is totally dedicated to making life easier:
